Emergency Orthodontic Care
We’re Here When You Need Us Most
At Oasis Orthodontics, we understand that dental and orthodontic emergencies can be stressful—especially for children and teens. Whether it’s a knocked-out tooth, a broken appliance, or sudden discomfort, we’re here to help guide you through it with expert care and compassion.
What to Do in a Dental Emergency
Stay calm and act quickly. The sooner you respond, the better the chances of preventing further complications.
Common Orthodontic Emergencies:
Broken or loose brackets
Poking wires or loose bands
Lost or broken retainers
Swelling or irritation from appliances
For most orthodontic issues, temporary solutions at home can ease discomfort until you reach our office. For example, orthodontic wax can help cover irritating wires, and using a cold compress can reduce swelling.
Severe Emergencies:
If your child has experienced a knocked-out tooth, severe trauma, or heavy bleeding, call your dentist or visit an emergency room immediately. Then contact our office for follow-up orthodontic care.
When in Doubt, Contact Us
